Import Duties, Taxes, and Additional Fees

Please note that the recipient is responsible for all applicable customs duties, tariffs, taxes, or VAT, which are collected by the carrier upon delivery. These charges vary depending on the destination country’s regulations.

United States (US)

  • Until August 28, 2025, orders under USD $800 are exempt from U.S. import duties.
  • However, carriers such as FedEx, UPS, and DHL may still charge customs clearance fees (typically $20–$60). In addition, some U.S. states apply local sales tax (5–10%) on imported goods.
  • Starting August 29, 2025, the U.S. government will end the $800 de minimis exemption. This means all shipments, regardless of value, will be subject to import duties (around 15% for most EU-made products), in addition to clearance fees and any applicable state sales taxes.

Canada

  • Canada applies duties on shipments over CAD $20 and GST/HST (sales tax) on shipments over CAD $40.
  • Duties generally range between 5–20% depending on the product category.
  • Carriers (FedEx, UPS, DHL) also charge brokerage or clearance fees, which can range from CAD $15–$60 per shipment.

United Kingdom (UK)

  • For orders under £135, UK VAT must be collected at checkout and remitted by the seller. This means you will pay VAT directly when placing your order, and your package should not be charged VAT again upon delivery.
  • For orders over £135, UK Customs will charge VAT and import duties upon delivery. The exact duty rate depends on the product category (typically 0–12% for most goods).
  • Carriers such as Royal Mail, DHL, and UPS may also apply a customs clearance fee (usually between £8–£25 per shipment).

Important: These charges are collected by customs or the delivery carrier at the time of delivery. They are not included in your order total and are the responsibility of the recipient. We recommend checking with your local customs office for more information before placing your order.
